Salar of Uyuni is the largest salt desert in the world with an area of 12,000 km², located at 3,650 m to the southwest of Bolivia, in the province of Daniel Campos, department of Potosí and is part of the highland region of the Andes mountain range.

DAY 1: BUS PUNO - LA PAZ - UYUNI
- 7:00 am Transfer from the hotel to the land terminal of Puno to board the regular bus to La Paz. Arrival approx 3:00 pm, Free afternoon to visit the city or give a toilet in the cable cars (not included)
- 8:00 pm .: Bus Semi - cama La Paz - Uyuni (arrival the next day 5:00 am)
DAY 2 FULL DAY UYUNI (Shared service)
Our local operator will pick you up from the Uyuni bus station, give you detailed tour information and breakfast (on your own).
Our adventure to the Salar de Uyuni begins 10:00 a.m. visiting the train cemetery where we will appreciate an open-air historical museum of the locomotives that many years ago gave life to the town of Uyuni, which is one kilometer away from it.
We will visit Salar de Uyuni, from the exit of the town the landscape does not stop surprising all the way to Colchani, where the population works the salt and during the visit it will show us the micro-factory of saltpeter refining, we will appreciate mounds and blocks of salt. We will also visit the market where crafts made with salt are sold. Lunch is at Isla del Pescado, a wonderful place in the middle of a white sea of tall cacti, some with more than 100 years of life. After lunch we will have time to explore the island and take amazing 360 degree photos from the top.
Then in the afternoon the tour continues through the salar until reaching the isolated area of Atulcha, which is also like a large island where there is a small and famous hotel built with blocks of salt, there is also salt furniture.
8 pm Return of Uyuni - La Paz (bus semi bed) arrival at the third day at 5 am approx.
- DAY 3: BUS LA PAZ - PUNO8:00 am Departure by bus to Puno - Arrival at 3:40 pm and transfer to the hotel.
ITINERARY
- 8:00 pm Bus Departure La Paz - Uyuni: Arrival 05:00 a.m.
- 10:00 am The tour starts by visiting the train cemetery or Colchani.
- 1:00 pm Visit and lunch at Isla del Pescado.
- 2:00 pm Walk around the island, to observe the giant cactus and the extensive salt flat next to the Tunupa Volcano.
- 4:00 pm Visit to the famous Hotel de Sal, built with blocks of salt. Also salt furniture.
- 6:30 pm Return to Uyuni.
- 8:00 pm Departure from Uyuni - La Paz 5:00 am arrival to La Paz (next day)
- 3:40 pm arrival in Puno (next day)
